the long awaited okular epub plugin part 4

First starting with the good news, the epub plugin was moved to kdereview (thanks pino!!:))

And now continuing with, well, some more good news, toc support finally works!!

First picture is from a book with ncx toc, and the second uses guide support (which I use as fall back if exists).

okular epub plugin part 3

Well things improved a bit,  CSS and images now work. (by simply overriding loadResource I love OO sometimes 🙂

Page breaking doesn’t work yet (no page support) but it now starts each html file in a new page, which already makes the book look a lot better.

Looking at Sherlock Holmes there seem to be a weird bug, it seemed the first line is not centered as it should, I wonder if it is a known QT bug or am I doing something wrong..

Finally seeing text!!!  of course page breaking still doesn’t work properly, and not all html is parsed correctly (like links).

but it’s a start!

okular epub plugin

As everyone who talked to me lately knows, I’m trying to write a plugin for okular I finally finished some meta data handling code, so you can’t see the document but now you know what you are missing! 🙂

I have a weird problem with a new line in the title.. can’t find it anywhere though..

Sukot

We (Michal) decided that we should have a suka for ourselves.

Apparently we(Michal) also decided we should invite just about anyone we have phone number of to visit us in the suka. I wonder when they will all have time to come…

And of course few pics of our lively suka

passed my driving theory exam

YAY!

Now I just need to figure out how to actually drive 😉

Last exercise submitted

Today I submitted what was hopefully the last exercise of my degree!!

Now just to pass my last test:) (not including the master test of course)

Fun moment with kids

slow week

Didn’t have much to post about lately,  life are slowly advancing, trying to juggle between work an annoying  course and the thesis.

Heat doesn’t make all those running a lot easier.

On the good side, my driving lessons are advancing (and about time I took like 36 or so by now) and I think I’m finally ready for the theory exam. I hope that I will find some mail office that I can pay in on Sunday.

I could have written a long rant about the shameful deal with the Israeli X president, but then I would need to invent a new politics category 😉

A very nice cheat sheets index

I found a very nice cheat sheet index on the techtarget page.

It covers many more subjects than I thought (they actually know what latex/linux is)
